I was a stray cat in Romania many years ago. Then, things changed for me. I crossed the ocean to discover the New World.
Later on, I found what happiness means. For me doing something for another. I’ll tell you about MEDICINE as I see it, Mish the cat. Follow me and I hope that at the end of the road you’ll be a better person. You’ll know more and appreciate everyone: cat, dog or human, all hoping for a better world.

The idea of a medical website was staying in my mind for quite some time now. It firstly appeared a few years ago. I was trying to find good books and courses for preparing USMLE steps and I was paying lots of money for them. Finally I had bits of what I was looking for and considerably less money. It took me a lot to build the puzzle from bits. I passed the exams and got the ECFMG certification.
I still cannot find what I want. Itʼs about concise information, analytical and visual. So, if I want to look up for something and press the search button, then the shortest and compelling explanation together with a good visual representation of the searched concept to appear on the click. I wanted it analytical instead of descriptive because I think that understanding concepts by comparing them with related items is a valuable tool for learning why we choose this and not that and gives confidence for medical practice, exams and life in general. I also want it visual because visualization is one of the best ways for making it stay in your mind for long time so a combination of analytical, visual and concise should be a timesaving powerful tool.
Here is the way I structured it
There will be (I am currently working on them) 24 presentations (categories) on slides covering most parts of the medical information available. Each slide will try to cover one subject.
Sometimes more than one slide will cover the subject. There is a search button so you are able to choose the whole presentation or just the subject from that presentation you are interested in. Information presented is accurate based on published textbooks, live lectures and internet data base. The way is presented and linked to other concepts is my own contribution to the science, my way of making a long story short. What I want to say is that I am going to write what I consider essential for the topic. The way I write it is simple and logical.
About the content
I start with presentations that are introductory in a way to the medical information. These are: Biostatistics and Epidemiology, Medical imaging, EKG interpretation and Drugs. Then I will try to introduce the medical information that will be structured on medical specialties.

This page is dedicated to all the people that want to ask a question related to health or medical topics. I am going to answer all the questions as soon as possible in both English and Romanian.
About Mish
Mish is my beloved cat for more than 12 years now. We came together to discover a new world and despite many difficulties we are still together. Heʼs my best nonhuman friend and an everyday joy. We developed a communication during the years and the message heʼs sending about being unselfish is genuine. I also thought that being humble and ask a cat to teach you or tell you what you want to know is a good exercise for all those who feel that they achieved so much in this life.
Last but not least, I want to thank my dear friend Brinder for reading all the presentations before uploading. I know itʼs a hard task after being on call in the hospital for long days and I am deeply grateful for this. I want also to thank my dear cousin Miruna who accepted to work together in building this website.
